The Swedish National League, where all our teams are competing, starts at the end of September and ends around Match-April.
Match days:
Match days usually consist of one or two matches played on the same day.
Each team will host approximately three match days per season.
Elden’s home courts are located at Forsgrenska Badet (Medborgarplatsen) and Kanalhallen (Skanstull).
All teams are required to travel to other clubs’ home arenas within Stockholm County. Some teams may also have to travel further for certain match days, to locations such as Södertälje, Uppsala, Gävle, or Västerås.
Communication platforms
RSVP
All the teams in Elden use Svenska Lag (our website provider) to rsvp to training sessions and matches. Svenska Lag also have an app for iOS and Android. It is mandatory for all players to RSVP to trainings and matches. It has to be done for at least 2 days before each training, and 2 weeks before each match.
Team chats
Each team has a whatsapp chat that we use to stay in touch and communicate if anything happens (if someone is running late for instance). The club also have a whatsapp "community"-chat where any announcements are made.
Tournaments
All teams try to go to some of the tournaments happening in Stockholm, Uppsala and Norrköping.
There is usually one tournament held in each of the spring, summer, autumn, and winter seasons. Those are usually one- or two-day tournaments.
They are not mandatory, but everyone is encouraged to join.
